Job Summary The Financial Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial and operational decision-making by developing reporting solutions, analyzing data, and improving reporting processes across the organization. Reporting to the Controller, this role works closely with Finance, Operations, Shared Services, and Business Solutions teams to transform data into meaningful insights that support business performance. The successful candidate is curious, analytical, and enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working with data from multiple systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further develop their expertise in financial reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting technology. Roles and Responsibilities Reporting & Analytics Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational reports, dashboards, workflows, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Build and maintain Excel-based reports, models, and queries to support business analysis and decision-making. Build, maintain, and train teams on Power BI dashboards to support business analysis and decision-making. Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders. Support the ongoing enhancement of reporting capabilities across the organization. Systems & Reporting Solutions Develop and maintain expertise in the organization's financial reporting systems and reporting tools. Support the implementation and enhancement of financial modules, reporting solutions, and system upgrades. Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders during system implementations and improvements. Assist with troubleshooting reporting issues, data discrepancies, and system-related challenges. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data quality.
